Job Description

​At MW Boston Delivery, we prefer candidates with at least 1 year’s Driver/Delivery Service experience but will also train. Military veterans are welcome. DOT-regulated drivers with Medical Examiner certificates are a plus!

We offer year-round Full-Time (Four 10-hour shifts), Part-Time (Two or Three 10-hour shifts), and seasonal opportunities. Uniforms, PPEs, and the delivery vehicles will be provided to you.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Possess a valid Massachusetts
    driver’s license with a good driving record.

  • Legal to work in the U.S. and pass e-verify check.

  • Pass a background check and driving record check.

  • No DUI or suspended license for any reason in the past 5 years, if you have then please do not apply.

  • Must be able to safely operate a full-sized cargo van.

  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays, at least two weekends every month.

  • Must speak English.

  • Can follow a GPS routing system and communicate with our Dispatch team and customers.

  • Must be able to load/unload 200+ packages, enter and exit a company van up to 250 times per day, and capable of moving up and downstairs.

  • Ability to lift and carry packages that can weigh 30 – 75 lbs., bend, reach above head, squat, and kneel.

  • Where appropriate, carry out in delivery station activities including general tasks.

Your essential duties and responsibilities are
 

  • Safely operate large delivery vehicles.

  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.

  • Use handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.

  • Deliver packages to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses.

  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.

  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.

  • Abide by all transportation laws, maintain a safe driving record, and follow safety standards on and off the road.

  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
